Conscious New Year’s Resolutions

happy dayA new year…a new start…how do you make the best use of it? Many people make New Year’s resolutions or goals to accomplish in the New Year. Most people didn’t keep them last year and won’t keep their resolutions this year either. It’s not about lack of commitment, desire, or surprisingly even discipline. It is about a lack of vision and belief.

Let me explain how YOU can claim your success by this time next year:

It all begins with your thoughts and beliefs! They have to change first before effective change can be made in the physical world. Shocked? Again, everyone tries to make changes by forcing the physical world to bend to their will and then wonder why it doesn’t work very well. You must first change your consciousness—change the unseen world FIRST.

Why do people try and try to lose weight but never accomplish it? Because they will not give up the belief that they are fat and they can’t imagine themselves skinny.

Why do some people work harder and harder to get ahead in the world and only live paycheck to paycheck? They have a poverty-consciousness, feeling poor and believing that life is unfair.

If you make any New Year’s Resolutions this year begin by changing how you see yourself. Visualize yourself as healthy, with plenty of money, laughing with friends and doing things you love. Spend just 5 minutes each day imagining what that looks like and add in details. See yourself victorious at the end of 2015. Wup Wup!

Then tell yourself that you ARE the person that you want to be, living that life that you dream of. Say things like, “Life supports me in every way possible.” And “I am the perfect weight; I love healthy food and exercising every day.” Talk to yourself that way over and over until you actually believe it. (Yes, this IS conscious brainwashing.) Use Power Affirmations

Finally, take action. These steps align your four bodies to be internally consistent.  Just make baby steps toward your goal, get happy about the new you, and before you know it you are living the life of your dreams. It is that simple. Really!
