When life has you tied up in knots, head outdoors. I’m sure you have heard people who don’t go to church say that they find “God in Nature.” Actually they speak the truth. The peace and beauty of nature is healing and can bring you back to your happy place. When you need to feel connected to source energy, look around you. We are all one with nature and all living things.
Find a place to sit and contemplate the perfection of beautiful flowers, birds, trees, waterfalls, or any other natural wonder. This will boost your spirits if you allow it. I think that fishing is a form of meditation for people who scoff at such things.
Frank Lloyd Wright the modern architect who developed an organic and distinctly American style said, “I believe in God, only I spell it Nature.”
God loves you and wants you to be happy. He created this beautiful planet and all the creations on it just to bring us joy. Don’t be ungrateful for the gifts of God that are all around. The time to find gratitude in experiencing small things, the sunset, birds singing, and the sunshine just to name a few.
“I think it pisses God off if you walk by the color purple in a field somewhere and don’t notice it…. People think pleasing God is all God care about. But any fool living in the world can see it always trying to please us back.” ~Alice Walker, The Color Purple, 1982
Your natural state of being is happiness. If you focus on the NOW and the beauty around you, you will be in a happier, and discover a more peaceful state of mind. Is this not heaven?
The act of being attuned to nature brings into alignment your first chakra, primal energy and the basis for attuning with the energy of Mother Earth. Earth energy is very powerful and gives you a feeling of being grounded, of being able to respond to the trials of life. All of life is One, connect.
“I love to think of nature as an unlimited broadcasting station, through which God speaks to us every hour, if we will only tune in.” ~George Washington Carver
